i’m not a therapist but you can talk to me.
i’ve been thinking a lot about how we talk to each other nowadays, or don’t, and how i think we’ve quietly pathologised human conversation. and i worry a little about how many people are talking to chatbots about the things that matter to them. and i understand why, it doesn’t judge and it doesn’t get tired, but it’s not there and you know that, and it makes the whole thing a little bit more lonelier rather than less.
but there’s this thing that happens when you talk something through with another person. just calling and saying, i’ve been having a hard time, or i can’t stop thinking about this thing, or honestly i don’t even know what it is. and the other person being testimony to your existence.
it’s just a conversation (between you and i) and i can give advice or i can just be present (you decide). it can be anonymous if you choose it to be, and it’s free. and if it helped and you want to leave something, you can.
